Call for Speakers

    To continue with making this group a true "Users Group", we invite any of our attendees to share their 'user stories' with the everyone. ANY technical topic is typically fair game - the experience levels in the group range from "newbie" to "years of Informix" ... so don't think the topic has to be "IDS Internals" deep. Many times something you have done at your site can be of great value to one or more in the group.

    Guidelines:
    • Presentations can be from 30 minutes to 90 minutes, with some wiggle-room either way.
    • Powerpoint slides are definitely the standard.
    • Leave ample time for Q/A both during the presentation and at the end.
    • Rough guideline for timing - about 2 minutes per slide minimum, excepting agenda slides, titles, etc. Any slide with good content/diagrams will take a couple of minutes.
